Every session with Roger, Shaman and Tantric Healer, is different as he sees clients as individuals and will utilise whatever approach is called for at that time. This may include aspects of Shamanic healing, Tantra, Bodywork, Gestalt Therapy, Energy Healing and Sacred Intimate work.
To him healing is not work - it is a vocation, a passion and a way of life.

Training and Experience
Roger initially trained as a Gestalt Therapist in 1980 and went on to work as a consultant for the Grief Bereavement Project of Ontario for several years.
In the 1990’s as part of his full-time employment, he worked in the Arctic for some years where he experienced the Inuit culture and the teachings of their Healers and Medicine Men.
The major turning point in his life occurred in 1995 when he was given a diagnosis of a life-threatening illness.
After being told by Doctors that it would mean a permanently reduced quality of life, Roger chose to follow a path of healing, both for himself and others. A change that 20 years later has maintained his health, fitness and well-being.
In 2000, Roger met Dr Rudolph Ballentyne, a student of Swami Rama, founder of the Himalayan Institute and a medical doctor who practices a holistic approach to healing that incorporates Tantra, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, European and Native American Herbology, Nutrition, Psychotherapy and Bodywork.
Dr Ballentyne has studied the Sri Vidya Lineage of Tantra and was mandated by Swami Rama to bring Eastern Tantra from India to the West and to adapt it to our society and culture. Eastern Tantra, originating in India, is a living spiritual practice and philosophy that embodies Meditation, Yoga, and Sexuality.
It differs from Western Tantra which considers only the sexuality aspect.
Since then Roger has studied the Sri Vidya Lineage of Tantra with Dr Ballentyne and completed the Tantra teacher training in 2012 to become a certified teacher.
Similar to Dr Ballentyne, Roger has studied other methods of healing and has teachers who include Shamans from New York State, Scotland and Peru, as well as instruction and certification in Reiki and other aspects of bodywork.
As part of his shamanic training, Roger was identified as a sexual healer, and in 2006, he sought training in this particular aspect of healing, leading him to Sacred Intimate work.
In 2007 Roger became a full-time Shaman and Tantric Healer. He has facilitated workshops at Easton Mountain and with Body Electric.
Roger has worked extensively with the Gay and AIDS communities providing workshops, support groups and discussion groups. He brings an extensive range of healing modalities, life and personal experiences to his work.
