Robin Breger aims to help people discover their inner potential for health and well-being. As an osteopathic manual practitioner, she works to optimise each client’s unique alignment by removing the various tensions, memories of trauma and other blockages from the body’s tissues. This approach brings a more full and authentic expression of who they genuinely are.
As an osteopathic manual practitioner, typical effects of Robin’s treatments include the reduction or elimination of pain or tension, an increase in mobility or performance, feelings of deep calm and relaxation, emotional release and improvement in physiological function (breathing, digestion, elimination, etc.).
English and French
Robin’s osteopathic training includes over 4000 hours of courses in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, embryology, radiology, psychology, nutrition, professional ethics and osteopathic manual techniques, as well as the completion a thesis project (The Immediate Effects of Osteopathic Treatment on the Singing Voice).
In addition to her osteopathic studies, Robin has attended over 1000 hours of courses in related fields, including Shiatsu massage therapy, Life Coaching and Reiki. She completed a Yoga Alliance accredited yoga teacher training, and for the past three years has taught hatha yoga classes. Her approach to healing has been shaped by a variety of thinkers, teachers and practices and is continually evolving.
Robin Breger has been practising osteopathy since 2007. Her husband’s work as a foreign service officer has given her the privilege of working in many different settings around the world. She has extensive experience working with a large variety of clients, including athletes, dancers, military personnel, infants, children, teenagers, pregnant women, older adults, trauma victims and people living with chronic pain and illness.
