Wintertime creates a lot of stress and tension in the body; from holiday commitments to work-related stress and the challenge of snow, freezing rain and bitterly cold temperatures.
As we move into spring, it’s important to realign our posture, soothe our nervous system and relax the tight muscles we have built up over the last few months.
In this talk, we will discuss a phenomenon called pandiculation; its importance in relaxing tight muscles and softening our nervous system. This helps us to use our bodies more functionally as we age.
We will also practice Somatic exercises, so folks have the chance to experience the magic of pandiculation.
All levels welcome.
